The winners of State Prize named after Zulfiya

From 2000 to 2014 214 most gifted girls have been awarded with this prize. Among them 46 girls were rewarded due to their achievements in the sphere of literature, 59 in culture, 41 in art, 24 in science and 42 in education.

Among them 35 of winners were rewarded with this prize as the students of higher educational establishments, 43 were students of academic lyceums, 44 were students of colleges, 75 were pupils of schools and the rest 15 were specialists of different fields. The State Prize winners have the representatives from the nations of Khazakh, Kharakhalpakh, Russian,Thajikh, Khirgiz and Boshkhird.

Besides, there are several State Prize winners who are the candidates of science and professionals of different fields. Approximately, 20 of them are laureates of scholarships named after Navoiy, Ibn Sino and President, 30 of girls are champions of Uzbekistan, Asia and the world in different types of sports.

On the elections of 2014 eight State Prize winners were elected as deputies of the local Councils.

A number of actions have been taken by Women’s committee of Uzbekistan in order to make the public aware of the essence of the State Prize and the achievements of winners. Every year traditional assembly of the State Prize winners is organized with an elated spirit and girls are being supported and stimulated regularly. In 2014, for instance, thanks to the support of the Women’s committee of Uzbekistan and publishing house named after Gafur Gulom and “ Shark” books of 8 Prize winners were published.
