Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On  establishment of the monument of people’s poetess of Uzbekistan Zulfiya in Tashkent

 Taking into consideration huge input of People’s poetess of Uzbekistan Zulfiya into the development of national literature and culture, important role and significance of her unique creative heritage and public social works in upbringing young generation in the spirit of love and devotion to Motherland, national and common to all mankind values:

1. Approve a proposal of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs, and Center of spirituality of the Republic on establishment in the capital of our country – in Tashkent city the monument of People’s poetess of Uzbekistan Zulfiya
2. Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan jointly with appropriate organizations is to announce and to hold in established order in a month a creative competition on creating a monument of Zulfiya.
3. Ministry of Finance is to provide the defrayment of expenses on creating and establishing a monument from reserve fund of Cabinet of Misters on accounts given by Tashkent city administration (khokimiyat).
4. Control of execution of the Resolution is to be entrusted to deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan R.Kasimov.
